I run this site and a small number of my own project sites myself. This page says plainly what is collected, what is not, and how to reach me. It covers two separate things: the website you are reading, and an automated tool I use to keep track of public discussion about my own projects.

The website

This is a static site. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising or third-party tracking scripts, and has no analytics script embedded in its pages. There are no forms — the only way to contact me from here is an email link.

It is served through Cloudflare, which processes ordinary web request data — IP address, user agent, the page requested — in order to deliver and protect the site. That processing is Cloudflare's, as my hosting provider, under their terms. I look only at aggregate figures such as total page views and a country-level breakdown. I do not store visitor IP addresses, and I do not build a profile of anyone who visits.

If you email me, I keep the email, because that is what an inbox is. I do not add you to a mailing list; there isn't one.

The monitoring tool

I operate a private, single-user tool that helps me keep track of public discussion about projects I own — currently partylore.com and feltbots.com. It is used by me alone. It has no other users, no customers, and nothing is sold.

What it reads. Publicly visible posts and comments on public platforms that mention my projects by name, plus public activity on my own open-source repositories. It reads only what any logged-out person could read. It does not read private messages, and it does not access anything behind a login that is not mine.

What it does not do. It does not post, comment, reply, vote, message, or follow anyone. It has no ability to publish. When something looks worth answering, it prepares a suggested reply and shows it to me; if a reply is posted, I write it and post it myself, from my own account, by hand.

What it stores. The minimum needed to avoid handling the same item twice: an item's platform identifier, where it appeared, when, and whether I have already looked at it. It does not build profiles of the people who wrote those items.

How long, and deletion. If you delete something, it goes. I re-check the items I hold against their source, and content whose author has removed it is removed from my store too. If you would rather I did not retain a reference to something you wrote about one of my projects, email me and I will delete it — you do not need to give a reason.

Automated processing. Some of what it reads is passed to a commercial AI model to classify and summarise it for me — for example, to judge whether a comment is a question that deserves an answer. None of it is used to train any model, by me or by anyone else. It is not sold, republished, or shared with a third party.

Children

Nothing here is directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to ask what I hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Email me and I will do it. There is no form and no process; it is one person reading his own mail.

Changes

If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
